Precision temperature control requires managing thermal loads dynamically. Standard chambers operate in ranges from -70°C to +180°C. To achieve ultra-low temperatures, a cascade refrigeration system is deployed. This system consists of two interconnecting loops: a high-temperature stage utilizing R404A or eco-friendly R449A, and a low-temperature stage utilizing R23. Heat is exchanged between these stages through a plate-type interstage condenser. PID-controlled electronic expansion valves modulate refrigerant flow with high precision, balancing heat generation inside the chamber workspace with the required cooling capacity, preventing temperature fluctuations and reducing power consumption by up to 30% compared to hot-gas bypass architectures.
Humidification systems must deliver controllable water vapor without causing condensation droplets on the unit under test (UUT). Huanyi Chambers utilize an external steam-generating humidifier or a dry-bath steam humidifier controlled via a microprocessor.
