Custom Rubber low temperature brittleness testing machine Manufacturers, Factories

The equipment simulates the low temperature environment to evaluate the performance of materials under extreme low temperature conditions, and is suitable for scientific research, material quality inspection and other fields.

Product Description

Product Details
The rubber and plastic low temperature brittleness tester is used to measure the highest temperature of rubber and plastic samples when they are damaged by impact under specified conditions, that is, the brittle temperature. It can be used to compare the performance of non-rigid plastics and other elastic materials under low temperature conditions, and the advantages and disadvantages of temperature and low temperature performance.
This equipment adopts cascade compressor refrigeration technology, uses the principle of heat balance and circulating stirring method to achieve automatic uniform cooling and constant temperature of the sample.
Sample Standard
1. Specifications:
1.1 Rubber: The length of the sample is 25.0±0.5mm, the width is 6.0±1mm, and the thickness is 2.0±0.2mm.
1.2 Plastic:
A: The length of the sample is 20.0±0.25mm, the width is 2.5±0.1mm, and the thickness is 2.0±0.1mm.
B: The length of the sample is 31.75±6.35mm, the width is 6.35±0.51mm, and the thickness is 1.91±0.13mm
2. Requirements:
The surface of the sample should be smooth, free of foreign matter and damage. The finished product should be molded or polished and cut to the corresponding size.
Technical Parameters
Temperature control range -70℃ (room temperature ≤ 25℃) (there are three models of -60, -70, -80℃ for customers to choose)

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the main purpose of this tester?
It is designed to determine the brittle temperature of rubber and plastic materials by measuring the highest temperature at which samples break under impact in specified low-temperature conditions.
What cooling technology does the equipment use?
The tester utilizes cascade compressor refrigeration technology combined with a circulating stirring method to ensure uniform cooling and precise temperature stability.
Are there different temperature range options?
Yes, we offer three standard models with maximum cooling capabilities of -60℃, -70℃, and -80℃ to meet various testing requirements.
What are the required dimensions for rubber samples?
Standard rubber samples should be 25.0±0.5mm in length, 6.0±1mm in width, and 2.0±0.2mm in thickness.
Which cooling medium should be used in the tank?
Ethanol or other specialized antifreeze liquids are recommended as the cooling medium for the stirring tank.
How stable is the temperature during the test?
Once the constant temperature state is reached, the temperature fluctuation remains within ±0.5℃ during a 3-minute test window.
